We will be opening the gardens again this year on the 19 and 20th June, we don’t normally open at this time of year so hopefully those of you who are regulars to the garden might get a chance to see something different. The herbaceous border will (all being well) be in full bloom and lets hope that the rain stays away. Please do bring the dog on a lead and come and enjoy a change of scene.

Tickets can be booked online – https://www.trybooking.co.uk/BAGU we will be able to take payment on the gate on the day too. Cards and cash.
Wyn Abbot ceramics will be open in their onsite pottery, and we will have our history talks back at 12noon each day, these have been sorely missed and I know some returning visitors will be delighted. For those of you visiting for the first time, the brief history of Hornby Castle is a rapid whizz through the lively history of the castle and its inhabitants, by Sue Bull our resident history expert.

At the most recent garden openings we have worked with a timed entry system in order to manage numbers, but as the regulations gradually lift we feel we can safely monitor numbers in the garden and so please be aware if we decide the gardens are getting too busy we will operate a one in one out policy.
